Ağrı'nın Patnos ilçesinde meydana gelen kazada 17 yaşındaki genç, otomobil çarpması sonucu yaşamını yitirdi. Edinilen bilgilere göre ilçeye bağlı Örendik (Kûrdegaz) köyü Değirmendüzü mevkiinde karşıdan karşıya geçmeye çalışan Berat Aslan'a, hızla ilerleyen bir araç çarptı. Kaza sonrası çevredeki vatandaşların yardımına koştuğu Aslan'ın hayatını kaybettiği öğrenildi.

Kaza anına ait görüntülerde çevredeki insanların panik içinde yardıma koştuğu anlar yer aldı. Aslan'ın cenazesinin, Örendik köyünde toprağa verileceği bildirildi. Kazayla ilgili inceleme başlatıldı.
