Bursa'nın dağlarına Doğa Koruma ve Milli Parklar 2. Bölge Müdürlüğü tarafından yerleştirilen fotokapana, bu sefer kızıl geyik takıldı. Heybetli duruşu, çatallı boynuzları ve ormanın derinliklerine yankılanan sesiyle Kızıl geyik, doğanın asil sembollerinden biri olarak dikkat çekiyor. Bursa'da kayda alınan kızıl geyik, ihtişamıyla herkesi kendine hayran bıraktı. Bilimsel adıyla Cervus elaphus, Türkiye’de doğal olarak yaşayan en büyük geyik türü olurken, zengin orman habitatları ve geniş açıklıklar, bu türün barınması, beslenmesi ve üremesi için kritik öneme sahiptir.
